United States became the fifth qualified team

Last Sunday a new team has secured its place in the next FIP World Polo Championship, to be played in Sydney, Australia. United States beat Mexico 9-7 at the International Polo Club and became the fifth qualified team for the world cup after Australia, Chile, Argentina and New Zealand.

MVP: Felipe Viana (5 goals).
BPP: Chili, owned by Del Walton and bred by Gabriel Crespo.
USA: Remy Du Celliee Muller 3, Geronimo Obregon 4, Felipe Viana 5, Robert Herndon Radcliff 2. Total: 14.
Mexico: Juan José de Alba 4, Alejandro Gonzalez 3, Mariano Gracida 4, Diego Velarde 3. Total: 14.

Zone C:
On the other hand, two matches kicked off the European Playoffs, which deliver two spots for the World Championship. The tournament is taking place at the Polo Club du Domain du Chantilly.
The scores for the first matchday were as follows:
England 7-4.5 Germany
Spain 5-4 France

The playoff will resume Thursday with the following order of play:
2pm: Germany vs France
3:30pm: England vs Spain
