International Polo Tournament, that will take place between July 27 and September 1. As usual, the competition will showcase its three traditional Cups - Bronze, Silver and Gold, featuring all three levels: High goal (19-20), Medium goal (10-12) and Low goal (4-6). Plus, both the Silver and Gold Cups (high goal) award points for the World Polo Tour, in the categories WPT Cup and Championship Cup, respectively, which means a recognition to the hard work done by Santa María Polo Club in its efforts to become one of the world's best clubs. Meanwhile, Spain's great polo event was presented today in a press conference that was attended by personalities like D. Carlos Espinosa de los Monteros, Alto Comisionado del Gobierno para la Marca España, who emphasized the importance of these elite sports evento to spread the "Marca España". He said: "The Marca España is built by everyone, and the International Polo Tournament, hosted by Santa María Polo Club, is a true example of what we have to do. Sports events like these, help to our country's perception as well as to generate jobs. The tournament means excellence and quality, and it's s where our country have to point to improve its image. That's why se support such important event". He also thanked all the sponsors for their support to "all the sports events that help to our image overseas".
