David Bernal scored the winning goal in extra chukker, to secure Puesto Viejo a 6-5 win over QM, and the title of the Orange Tournament, at Polo Club Wasenaar, in The Hague, Netherlands. QM had a stronger start, as Pablo Urquiza scored for a 1-0 lead. Puesto Viejo's David Bernal converted a 30-yards penalty to tie in the second chukker, but QM quickly got back in the lead through two penalties - 40 and 60 yards, respectively - converted by their key man, Pablo Urquiza. A goal by David Bernal in the third frame, meant that the match entered the fourth and last chukker with QM leading 3-2. QM and Puesto Viejo fought hard in the last seven minutes. Following a goal by David Bernal that tied the scoreboard at 3-all, Puesto Viejo took their first lead with a field goal by Daniel Elosequi; a penalty from the spot from Savine von der Kloot Meijburg tied the scoreboard once again and following this, QM went back to the lead again - 5-4 - through a penalty conversion by Pablo Urquiza. But Puesto Viejo was far from surrender: David Bernal scored the goal that sent the match into over time. That was when Bernal himself scored once again to secure the win and the title for Puesto Viejo. Eleven years-old Anthony Smet was named MVP and his Mare, Medianoche, took BPP honors. In other finals, Groenekan took the seventh spot following their 3-2 win over Stockholm Vikings; fifth place went to Huslof, who defeated HV 7-3; and Tom Tailor was in third place, after beating Bellotos by a narrow 7 - 6,5.
